"finn believes in magic," they would always say, mostly tolerating his quirks. it took him until last week to really truly believe in it with his whole heart. he'd simply turned the corner, lost in his thoughts as usual. he thought he'd gotten lost, but it seemed that he'd left the country entirely with a single sidestep. instead of pavement was a lush field of wildflowers, many of which he could barely identify. a soft brown rabbit had actually beckoned for him to follow and he did, finding himself face to face with a woman clad in pink and gold, extending a hand to him with a smile.

it had been an emotional adventure with a hundred revelations, ending with finn getting off the train ( how did he get there? ) to the apartment he shared with his dad. after another teary-eyed conversation, he'd hugged him real tight before hurrying back to rejoin his friends.
which leads us here, to the hotel room after the show, finn marching up to the door with a bigger sense of purpose, smelling faintly of sakura blossoms with a newfound inner glow. he's apologetic, of course, but he can't help but revel in this self-discovery too.
