[ And, later, when she's talked to people, teased Enjolras about the Kesha song yet again, and opened a handful of presents, Natalie's feeling full. It's a good, contented feeling, like things, while they may be shitty for a great deal of time, seem to be looking up for her. She is never ungrateful for her good friends, or a boyfriend who apparently doesn't need to be wooed.

When she shows up, she doesn't say anything, just smiling softly, tucking her loose hair behind her ears. ]

[ Her motions are tentative, somewhat fumbling but still eager. She doesn't wrap her hands around him but she rubs gently once she figures out what she wants to do to him. There are still too many thoughts swimming in her head and she knows she should shut them out right now. There is one clear sentiment, however, and that's to make sure he enjoys this. ]

[ It doesn't take much; a light touch and Leo's melting against her with a quiet sound, wishing for more but not wanting to push her. Taking a breath, he pulls her nipple gently between his teeth, one of his hands covering her other breast, the other holding her leg sliding up over her thigh. ]

[ The small bite surprises her, the sensation shooting straight down to below her navel, and she pushes her hips forward. They're a tangled mess but she likes being wrapped around him like this. Her hand keeps moving, encouraged by his reaction.

She nudges her nose against his head, whispering, ] I - I want you.

[ Between the way she moves and the way she says that, Leo can't help but groan. He pulls away only to catch her lips with his, wrapping his arms around her and hooking his fingers in her underwear.

Resting his forehead against hers, he breathes, ] I want you, too. [ But their underwear is in the way... ]

There, um, there's a condom in my jeans, the back pocket, because I don't know how to do this kind of thing with magic yet but I can - yeah. [ She blushes furiously and definitely doesn't tell him that her mother gave her this box when she was fourteen because she probably forgot how old her daughter was and that she had zero romantic prospects at the time. Shyly, she steals a kiss instead. ]

I should have mentioned that earlier.

Yeah, [ he agrees with a nervous laugh, extricating himself from her legs to go find it. After a bit of fumbling, he's got it in hand and going back to her for a quick kiss. ]

So how do we... [ How do they do this? Do they stay here, go find a chair, or...? ]

The table's kind of digging into the back of my legs. [ She laughs sheepishly, shaking her head, folding her arms over her chest as she looks around. ]

Is there a, like ... flatter surface? [ Maybe another time, when they're going fast and loose, but today should be different. More comfortable, too. ]

[ He tries not to laugh, but can't stop a grin as his hands nervously pick at the wrapper. ]

There's, um... There's a couch in the back?

Right. I mean, where else would you pass out when you don't come back to camp in time?

[ It is kind of strange, sitting here in just her underwear but it's Leo. There's no one else she's more comfortable with and, judging by the way he had paid attention to her, he certainly likes her like this. Natalie tentatively slides off the table. ] Let's go?

At the work table. [ The way he says it, it sounds like a joke, but that is actually more common than the sofa. And the passing out is literal.

With a smile, he gestures for her to follow and leads the way back, turning back to glance over her again once they get there. How did he get this lucky? he wonders, taking a deep breath. ] So.

[ It's kind of funny and a bit dangerous that she's walking through the bunker in her bare feet. Her heart beats so loudly she is almost sure he can hear it too. This is it. They are finally going to seal the deal. It would be stupid of her to question if he really wants it, but to doubt is an instinct of hers.

She squeezes his hand before resting her hands on his sides. ]

So. [ With a small push of confidence, she starts guiding him backwards towards the couch. ]

[ Well, okay. With a small, approving sound, he lets her push him back, catching her lips and placing his hands on her hips. ]

[ When she has him in a seated position, she holds onto that wave of braveness and climbs into his lap. This, she's never done with him; she's never been a lap straddler, preferring other positions. Slowly, she kisses him before pulling back, settling back into the moment as she pulls her hair away from her face, twisting it into a bun before it unravels around her shoulders. ]

[ Until this moment, Leo never realized how much he would like feeling her weight on top of him. He watches with interest as Nat fusses with her hair, taking in the way she moves. She must not realize how... enticing it is, but that's alright. He can busy himself with kissing her neck. ]

[ Natalie chuckles, loosely wrapping her arms around his shoulders, fiddling with his hair next, running her fingers through it in gentle strokes. There's no better way to end her birthday, she thinks, there's no one she'd rather do this with. ] We're gonna pay for this later, [ she warns, giving his shoulder a squeeze. There's a lightness to her voice. ]

Oh no, punishment? Whatever will we do? [ He laughs, pulling her a little closer to lean his forehead against hers, a mischievous sparkle in his eye. "You're worth it."

We're setting a bad example.[ She laughs again. It feels good to laugh like this because it just shows how they're on the same level and that they are great together. ]

Are you ready?

I dunno about you, Nat, but I have never set a good example for anyone. [ And where is the fun in it, anyway? Answer: there is none.

With a smile, Leo nods. ] Are you?

Yeah, I am.

[ She wrinkles her brow briefly but that disappears as soon as she smiles, looking up at him. ] I'm glad it's you.

[ He's glad, too, but he leaves it to a kiss to tell her, his hands slowly moving down to slip inside of her underwear. The condom sits beside them on the couch, yet unopened, but there are a few things still in the way before they can do this, no matter how ready they are. And the tightness in his shorts says that he is more than ready.

They're really doing this, Leo thinks, a spark of excitement igniting in the pit of his stomach. He's not sure if she feels exactly the same as he does - he loves her, gods help him, sixteen and hopelessly in love with a girl who deserves way better than him - but they're both here, they both feel something that hopefully isn't just their hormones, and that's all he asks of Natalie right now. And really, he just wants this to be good for her more than anything. If he can do that much, this will be more than worth whatever punishment Chiron and Mr. D can come up with. ]

[ Instantly, she melts, groaning into their kiss. Even just having his hands there is enough to set her off. She can feel her entire body vibrating in anticipation, needing him right there. It's almost embarrassing for her, now that he can really feel that wanting between her legs. Without realizing it, she's cursed in Greek.

Blushing - not that this is any different from the clear flush on her skin - she pulls herself back, out of the haze for a second, to reach for the rubber, kissing the corner of his mouth as she starts unwrapping it with steady hands. She doesn't speak; for once she doesn't have to. Whatever she feels for him should be clearer now. ]

[ His grinning to have gotten that reaction, one that leaves him wanting her even more than before. While she works on unwrapping the condom, he works on getting her underwear off, tugging the thin cloth down. ]

[ The pale grey fabric slides down her thighs and she's just ripped the thick plastic open, rolling to the side so Leo can pull her underwear off all the way. She waits for him to join her, pulling their safety precaution out for when he's ready. ]

[ He immediately misses having Natalie on top of him, but as soon as her underwear is off, his are quick to follow, tossed carelessly to the floor. Clearly he hasn't done enough admiring yet, because as much as Leo wants her, he has to wait a moment and let his eyes wander the whole of her body, with nothing hidden under Nat's usual layers. For once, she's bared everything to him, and gods, is that a good feeling.

Leaning over to claim a quick kiss, Leo runs his hands over her thighs, up until he gently takes her hand in his. Someone has to put the thing on him, and he's not sure that she wants to do it - that might be awkward - so he brushes over her fingers and the rubber, like an offer, mumbling, ] I can do it.

Oh - okay, [ she mumbles in return. That, she wouldn't have minded so much once she got over the blushing and fumbling. She makes a mental note to figure out how this whole birth control stuff works magically, because she could certainly do with skipping this bit and jumping right into the actual sex. Her levels of desire are off the charts and, frankly, if she wasn't so concerned about this, she has half a mind to jump his bones right now.

She gives his fingers an affectionate squeeze before leaving him to it. No, she reminds herself, this is going to be special, like those stupid dimly lit scenes in teen dramas and romantic comedies. It's special because they care about each other. ]
