[ jasper takes the items and disappears into the bathroom briefly himself to do a quick scrub and brush his teeth (thoroughly) before he comes back out into the main room again. still naked, he tugs neon over to the desk and sits him down in the chair before he turns to grab the stencil and paint.

he fusses in the mirror for a moment, makes sure he has the stencil in just the right place and secured, before he moves back to stand in front of neon again with a nod. ]

Alright, this should be good. Start around the edges first while the edges are still flat.

[ because his stomach will probably jump (the brush tickles) ]

( well, now that they have washed up, neon takes it upon himself to kiss him first. he seems to be doing that more often, kissing without any immediate sex waiting for them. he likes kissing jas even at their messiest, but the minty freshness is a nice touch.

it's difficult, not running his hands all over jasper's body since he's got a front row seat to every muscle and every smooth inch of skin. )

[ and sure enough his stomach does twitch (and so does his dick, thanks buddy) when neon starts to run the brush over his stomach. it's not as though jasper hasn't done this himself a dozen times by now, but it's... different, with neon doing it. there's an electricity in the air that jasper can't even pretend to not notice, not with how hot it's zapping him, and he swallows hard.

but still he obliges jas since he's still sitting there with the uncapped body paint and a brush at the ready.

... okay he does turn on the television in their room to some random episode of unsolved mysteries so he has something to drown out his own horny thoughts while he continues painting his friend's stomach. it's fine. )

I don't want any of the paint to get on my things. I have setting powder for it, but it needs to be on first.

jasper zones out a little bit as he watches the tv, one hand resting lightly on neon's shoulder to steady himself. it's thankfully nothing that intricate or hard, and it doesn't take long before he feels neon pull away from completing it. his eyes drop down and he sucks in a slow breath.

[ he takes a few steps back and shakes himself out before heading into the bathroom with his setting powder to check neon's handiwork. jasper's satisfied so he starts tapping on the powder before coming back out to at least put his underwear and the pants on.

he unlocks their door and swings open the two that separate the rooms and sticks his head into the other room to give bren a thumbs up. ]

[ jasper makes one last tug at the bone on his face to make sure it's secure before he comes out, slipping the jacket on as he steps out into the room. the wig is secured, his makeup is flawless thank you, and when he poses in front of the mirror just outside of the bathroom to adjust how low the pants are sitting on his hips his grin is appropriately cocky.

yeah, perfect. ]

Alright, ready.

[ he turns and looks at bren with a quiet hum, giving him a critical eye just to make sure everything on him is in place before he gives him a positive nod and thumbs up. ]

We couldn't look less like we're here together if we tried.

[ jasper laughs and moves toward his bags one more time to make sure he has his badge before he picks up his camera (not as nice or as fancy as ry's, but it does a damn fine job regardless) and its bag to hand them over to neon. ]

( neon stares. unabashedly. somehow jasper wearing those pants almost feels worse than him painting jasper in the nude.

he rolls off the bed before he gets any ideas and, once he has the emergency bag of supplies, he slings his arms around finn's and yuri's shoulders. that finn ducks a little to let him is appreciated. )

( bren's got his insta at the ready, taking charge at the front, tall enough to manage to get everyone in the video. while neon mugs in the background, he's chirping about heading back to the floor and the schedules.

[ he gives the others a wave as he hauls neon off to head outside toward the fountain.

the guy they meet up with is taller than jasper is and just as chiseled. jasper keeps casting neon little winks over the man's shoulder as they talk with the photographer about the angles they'll use to make the height difference not so. well. different.

a small crowd forms once the pictures start happening for real. they're tame enough, especially for who the two of them are. lots of faces mere inches apart, tips of swords resting against throats; at one point jasper even has the other guy pinned under his foot. and maybe, sometimes, there's an ass grab. or a knee in a precarious location. all for the cameras.

shuffling in between shots, jasper makes sure to catch neon's eye so he can cast him a wink and remind him to snap his own photos. ]

( while bren walks off with yuri and finn still petting his head, neon's more than happy to hold jasper's hand as they head in a different direction. the two of them certainly attract some attention with jasper looking the way he does and neon looking like he walked straight off the pages of a manhwa.

it doesn't attract nearly as much attention as the photoshoot does, though. but he's happy to stay out of the way for the most part, clearly eyeing jasper ( and his half-naked hip ). the process is interesting, though, with everyone working together to tell the horniest story in a somewhat sfw way. the other guy looks good but, to neon, jasper looks even better; even his giant disney princess eyes look fierce under the prop and makeup.

he rolls his eyes at the reminder ( even if he needed it ), and powers up the camera to take behind the scenes photos for jasper to use as teasers. no, he doesn't have a photographer's eye, but he does his best in focusing in on him. )

[ honestly, the shoot is a resounding success. jasper hasn't even looked at any of the unedited shots from the photographer's camera yet, but he knows they're about to look hot as hell. not that he had any doubts, but it was still a good time. they haven't been too concerned about the phone pictures being taken, either, as only the high-quality shots from this were going to be behind a paywall, anyway. he plans on posting a lot of the unedited stuff to his insta.

the last shot is a kiss. jasper has his hand wrapped around the other man's neck and is squeezing, just enough that the indents of his fingers are visible to the camera's eye. he's able to make the press of their lips look angry, somehow, his eyes open and narrowed in on the other man's (acted) stunned gaze. when he draws back it's with his teeth catching the man's bottom lip before he pulls back completely, laughing when they're fully separated and the clicks of the camera cease.

they go through the camera roll together before having a quiet conversation as the photographer walks away. jasper looks over toward neon and gives him a small smile before he looks back and shakes his head, saying no to something, and he pats the man's shoulder before heading over to neon and holding a hand out for the camera. ]

Lemme see.

( a few thoughts run through his head at this time: should he be jealous? is it weird that he isn't jealous? should he be jealous? neon's not dumb - well, oftentimes he's far from it except when it comes to jasper. the man is good at what he sells and for a second, neon gets swept up in the imagery. the sexy, weeb imagery.

still, he remembers to wander around the spot, taking photos, sometimes getting the photographer in the shot so it gives a full BTS vibe when jas inevitably publishes these on his socials.

neon is unusually quiet through the entire thing, not even bothering to throw in a snarky comment or a joke here and there. it doesn't feel appropriate, not when this is jasper's work.

he grins and opens up the gallery for him, handing the camera over. ) Hope they're good. I can take more of you solo later if you wanted.

[ jasper hums quietly as he flips through the gallery, nodding a bit at some of the shots. they're good enough, as far as he's concerned. he's not as picky about the professional quality, has no reason to be. it's not like he's bren with his pocket-photographer boyfriend.

his eyes lift at the offer and he ponders it for a moment before nodding with a grin. ]

We should definitely do some shots before the rave, then, because the makeup'll get all fucked up after that.

[ jasper has the brief, insane thought of setting the camera up while neon rides him, and he has to quickly dash that against the rocks before it can spiral out of control and become an actual suggestion. ]

We'll get the tripod set up.

[ he reaches up and toys with a little bit of neon's hair. ]

Style the hair and crop the picture just right and you'd look like Ulquiorra from behind.

( neon looks at him like he's actually gone insane, head tilted, eyebrows raised until they disappear under his hair. )

[ jasper lets out a laugh and loops an arm around neon's shoulders before he starts walking back up to the convention proper, dragging him along. he tilts his head sideways and drops his voice to a low murmur. ]

he steps inside the building and leads neon toward the dealer's hall once more, stopping occasionally to take pictures when people come up to him. ]

[ jasper's arm continues to go around neon's shoulder as they walk, dropping back there after any time they get stopped for a picture. he turns his head and leans in to press his lips against neon's ear and dropping his voice. ]

We should set something up when we get home, then. Just to try it out.

[ because like anything else, if they don't like it they just won't do it anymore. but they have found very little that they don't like, so maybe it's a moot point. ]

Yeah. ( he looks up at him and grins wide enough to show off his little whiskers. ) We can do that when we get back.

( he feels giddy. most of the stuff that he wants up doing with jasper tends to be spur-of-the-moment stuff with the occasional and integral discussion concerning consent. he's never been cool as a cucumber and has trouble hiding how excited he is for a potential new kink to explore.

Wow, what a terrible fate, ( neon deadpans with a wrinkling of his nose. the urge to kiss him still hasn't dissipated. for some reason, the tension between them seems thicker. maybe it's because this is all very much outside their usual haunts - his room, the couch, the hot tub, even the bathrooms of some of the clubs they frequent. all familiar.

all of this is new to neon and he feels kind of ... grateful to be pulled into this part of jasper's world.

he takes his hand again after walking around under his arm. )
