with a blush on his cheeks as he pulls away, he gives a tiny wave before heading off for his next stop of the night. the conversation goes as well as he'd hoped, though not without another punch on the shoulder, a little harder than yuri's earlier. he deserved it, honestly, but he wishes that jisoo remembered that she used to play sports. there are more tears, though happy ones this time - she'd always hoped he'd meet his mom even if the chances were slim! they go on a food run together and it's jisoo who watches finn head down the hallway to yuri's room like a parent sending their child on a first date, arms folded and everything.
he lifts his hand to knock but remembers the card in his pocket, which he taps in with a singsong, )Hullo...
[ yuri spends a decent amount of time in the shower, letting the heat of it ease the tension that had gathered in his shoulders. they're gonna try. him and finn, they're gonna... they're gonna. he's giddy as he cleans himself, thoroughly washing off the smell of the concert venue before stepping out to quickly blowdry his hair.
he's been laying in bed with his hello kitty pajamas and glasses on (farewell, contacts), watching something just the right amount of trashy to make him feel good about his own life, for about fifteen minutes when the door opens again. yuri immediately sits upright, making sure to look like finn's invited to join him in the bed if he wants to while also maintaining some space, and he grins. ]
( finn, now changed into sweatpants, peeks around the corner to beam at him. yuri looks so soft and cozy. he isn't sure he's seen him like this even on the most casual days with the band. finn looks a little flustered all over again, but he keeps going, perching himself on the edge of the bed next to yuri )
I brought all the goodies. ( he shakes the tote bag in his hand, the fabric a little damp from the pint of rocky road gathering condensation on the inside. he begins setting up on the side table, dutifully arranging the paper plates and the ice cream scoop and all the other foods he brought over. )
[ yuri raises an eyebrow just a little bit at that particular reaction, glancing down at himself briefly before looking back up again. oh, he says. he supposes that finn's never actually seen him dressed down, not really, only running into each other before and after shows after all. he's just having a hard time gauging what kind of "oh" that wa--

he grabs one of his pillows and rolls around until he's laying on his stomach with the pillow tucked under him so he can stay propped slightly up and see. a grin spreads across yuri's face as he kicks his feet in the air behind him. ]

and maybe he takes a little longer than necessary, pausing to stare out of the window into the city around them before he draws both layers of curtains closed. he wants to give finn time to maybe... gather himself, if he needs it.

he returns to the bed and burrows in, giddy with the anticipation of... cuddling. ]
( finn rolls away until his feet touch the floor again and he shuffles to his bag to pull out his travel toothbrush. being a good kid and all, finn quickly skitters into the bathroom to give his teeth a little brush after the late night sugar intake.
plus, he doesn't want his morning breath to be so rotten if they're ... going to have this sleepover, as impromptu as it is.
he dabs at his face with one of the little hotel face towels and blinks at his reflection. his black hair sticks out every which way after rolling around on the pillow for a bit. his cheeks are a little ruddy since he's been spending all this one-on-one time with yuri. he looks ... the same, but there's a different air to himself now that he's back in his home world. he kind of likes it.
with a deep breath, he opens the door, smiling at yuri already under the covers. well! he he goes! )

he dabs at his face with one of the little hotel face towels and blinks at his reflection. his black hair sticks out every which way after rolling around on the pillow for a bit. his cheeks are a little ruddy since he's been spending all this one-on-one time with yuri. he looks ... the same, but there's a different air to himself now that he's back in his home world. he kind of likes it.
with a deep breath, he opens the door, smiling at yuri already under the covers. well! he he goes! )

he looks up and away from the tv when finn comes back into the room and he returns the smile, gaze soft (and kind of sleepy, now that they're about to bunker down; the adrenaline of the last hour is really starting to crash). yuri pulls back the blankets on the other side of the bed and pats the empty space-- before lifting both of his arms and making grabbing motions with his hands. ]
