[ the glares being cast his way by ryker (and to a lesser extent but still present, bren) are fully being felt but yuri feels like he's doing a pretty decent job of pretending his heart isn't fluttering in his chest. neon and jasper, at least, just look amused at him, so he's assured in the thought that he's only going to get one frustrated talking to and not four.
the second they step off the stage at the end of the show and all microphones are off, ry's dragged yuri aside to give him the stern talking to he was anticipating. he's trying to take the moment serious, he really is, but the moment he mentions that it happened because finn kissed him he can hear jasper and neon snorting and trying not to laugh and then his own lips twitch because it is kind of funny but he's still thinking about it and ry just sighs dramatically and-- oh well now he's gone off to find finn, bren in tow.
yuri whips out his phone and starts texting as quickly as his fingers will let him. ]
( finn doesn't get the message right away. as soon as the concert's over and the guys have taken their final bows, he and the others begin loading up the stuff once more. amps in place, instruments carefully placed in their cases.
ryker and bren find him outside the crew bus and he looks appropriately sheepish for the light scolding. bren even waggles his finger for emphasis. we know you guys are seeing each other but!! no more surprise kisses right before the show! okay, okay, he gets it!
the pull the door closed on their gear and he eventually pulls his phone out, leaning against the door. )
[ yuri can only assume that the delayed response is because fin had gotten caught. he giggles a little bit as he gets the message, currently working with jasper and neon to smile and greet and sign autographs for fans. they reassure them that ry and bren will be by in a minute to take over and-- oh look, there they are.
yuri bows out before either of them can say anymore (he's done his rounds, thank you) and he immediately takes off to head outside and find finn.
he's almost breathless by the time he catches up to him and he comes to a halt just in front of him, eyes practically sparkling in the light of the streetlamp above them. ]
( finn's finally pulled off the black sweatshirt, his pale floral tank rumpled now. it feels nice to cool down and he runs his hands through his hair to push it away from his eyes, messing it up in the process.
then, yuri emerges and finn perks up with a smile, waving him over to where they're safely hidden in the shadow of the bus. not that it would matter to the band if fans saw them, but finn's always feeling a little shy about these things. )
I think so, ( he affirms, sounding almost confident this time. he even takes his eyes off his shoes to look at yuri directly as he says it. )
Well... I'd tell you to warn a guy next time, but I'm sure you've gotten an earful of that already.
[ yuri's smiling, his face bright as he gazes at finn. he reaches out and takes a gentle hold of both of his hands before he steps in closer, holding them loosely in between them. ]

[ he laughs and lifts his shoulders as he ducks his head just a bit, tucking into himself as he giggles helplessly. yuri swings their hands back and forth as he looks back up. ]
( finn giggles with him and blushes hours after his show of bravado. he lets him take their hands and helps him swing them together. yuri's expression tells him everything finn needs to know, he doesn't even have to ask if the surpsise smooch was okay.
out here might be just as romantic, under cover of darkness, the chatter of fans seeming to be far away from them as the concert crowd disperses into the night. finn licks his lips nervously and nods, taking a tiny step forward, just enough so it doesn't seem like an awkward middle school kiss.

[ there's a small part of yuri that's cursing his own height right now, because man does he wish he could stand up on his tiptoes to give finn this kiss. but there's something nice about being able to just tip into him, to meet him halfway when he starts to lean forward.
being ready for it this time doesn't do anything to diminish the novelty of sharing a kiss with finn. he's happy with this light press of lips, as sweet and innocent as it is, and he smiles against finn's mouth.
when he pulls back there's a tiny little mischievous glint in his eyes and he giggles. ]

( finn is tickled pink when the pull away from each other, though his hand does fly up to cover his mouth at the chapstick comment. )

[ yuri laughs again and he bring his now free hand up in order to pry finn's away from his mouth. as soon as it's free he leans in and gives finn a swift peck, smiling as he bumps their noses together. ]

he tips his head to the side, eyes maybe just a little crossed so that he can look into finn's properly. ]
( his face is warm, almost feverish when yuri's all pressed against him. not everyone gets a rockstar like this, and finn can't believe he's the guy in this position. he still has moments like this when they're walking hand in hand during their outings — dates, really. they don't really look like they are there together, but he suspects that will change with time.
he seems to really consider that promise before nodding lightly so as not to dislodge yuri's hands. )
[ yuri expels a sharp breath and closes his eyes for a moment, a smiling painting his lips. ]
